How I Found My Purpose Continued

See this letter as Part 3 of How To Find Your Purpose.

I will be concluding finding your purpose series here using myself as an example.

I will also be sharing with you practical examples from other people I have learnt from.

Therefore, grab a seat and a cup of coffee or tea as you patiently read along.

In my previous letter, I shared about how I love reading books and exploring valuable information using internet technology.

I also added that I love sharing these information with people, from all walks of life that can resonate with what I’ve got to share, so they can be well informed and be a better version of themselves.

I love helping people to maximize their full potential and achieve their desired results in life.

I have been doing this either by direct contact with people or through digital/online platforms in ways that these information are easily accessible to those who need them.

To expatiate further on how I communicate these information, I create websites, blog posts, articles, podcasts, and videos so those who resonate with what I share can choose their best options of accessing the information.

Along the line, I realized people gravitate towards videos and blog posts more.

Now, I am focusing  more on writing blog posts and creating eye-catching videos.

You will now be seeing more of my video teachings and training, especially those in my email list.

Never forget this, I share valuable information so people can move from a state of not knowing to a state of knowing (enlightenment).

This cuts across spirituality, health, career, relationships and online business.

I put Spirituality first, because I belief knowing your purpose in life begins with God. Everything originates from “Him.”

We are all individualized portions of God. He lives within us. That is why finding your purpose begins with looking within you and pull out God’s deposited or inherent potentials and passions that are there.

Long before you were conceived by your earthly mother, you were long conceived in God’s imagination.

You are not here on earth by accident or coincidence. Everything about you was properly and effectively planned for a purpose.

How to discover this purpose is what I am passionate about sharing with you.

That is what I love doing and because I have trained myself and I keep learning more on how to get it better, this has become my passion.

Using what I love and good at to solve people’s problems is now my mission.

Hope you are following?

Because I need to run through the four circles of the Purpose Venn Diagram that I shared with you in my previous letters.

Here is the summary:

  • Find something you love. That inherent potential deposited in your by God.
  • Be good at it (it becomes your passion).
  • See how you can use it to add values to the people or the world (this becomes your mission).
  • And then when you learn how to get paid doing what you love and good at, it becomes an occupation.
  • When you get paid fulfilling your mission, it can also be called your vocation.

The point of intersection where they all meet is called “Purpose”

In parallel, I have seen where people get paid doing something else, which is completely different from their purpose.

Let’s take for example, in my case, I did not study engineering because I found it to be my purpose. I studied engineering because my Dad was an Electrician.

I remember I was already following him to job sites before going to college to study engineering. I knew only about house wiring then but was a complete newbie in industrial engineering and large scale projects.

Nevertheless, studying engineering was a blessing in disguise for me as it helped me to unlock my real passion of helping people and solving problems.

Therefore, I was using the income from my engineering career to finance my purpose.

My purpose is to be a Life Coach and an Apostle (not in religious sense of it), but as a vigorous and pioneering advocate of Spirituality.

I believe strongly that everybody can relate with God individually.

They only need someone to show them how – pointing them in the right direction and not to serve as a hindrance or burden.

That is where I come in.

I was also able to apply my problem-solving skills and creative capabilities in executing projects for blue-chip clients in my engineering career.

This earned me rapid promotions, fat paychecks and some positive feedback in form of recommendations.

But then, I needed something more than money. I needed to follow my purpose of coaching people, teaching and counselling people, helping them to become a better version of themselves and to relate with God on a personal level.

Hence, the reason Ministry of Wealth Creation was birthed.

Wealth creation is not just about money.

It is also about having good health and time freedom – living your life on your own terms.

Even though you may be doing a job different from your passion at the moment, you do not need to quit your job, especially if that is your main source of income.

What you need do is keep on learning some skills to fan into flame your purpose.

Start using the income from your current job to develop your purpose until it becomes marketable to the point that it can stand alone on its own to bring in income.

It is not a crime to earn money from your life purpose. As a matter of fact, the more problems you solve, adding value to people’s life, the more money and rewards you will attract.
